Cobalt Finance Read-Only Gateway — an internal integration operated by Cobalt Digital Marketing.
This integration connects an authorized Cobalt Digital Marketing QuickBooks Online (QBO) company to a Cobalt-controlled local finance database used internally for financial reporting and reconciliation.
With Intuit-granted authorization we retrieve the following QBO accounting data: chart of accounts, customers, invoices, invoice line items, payments, credit memos, vendors, bills, journal entries, bank and credit card transactions, Profit & Loss reports, Balance Sheet reports, and Aged Receivables reports.
This integration does not create, update, or delete records in QuickBooks Online. It does not transmit accounting data to any third party. It does not sell or share data. It does not use accounting data for advertising or marketing.
Retrieved accounting data is stored on Cobalt-controlled hardware in the United States, in a local SQLite database used only by internal Cobalt staff and Cobalt's private agent tooling. QBO access tokens and refresh tokens are stored locally on that same Cobalt-controlled hardware.
The public compliance / OAuth wrapper at this domain is hosted on Netlify. The wrapper does not store QuickBooks Online access tokens, refresh tokens, or the Intuit client secret. The wrapper only mediates the authorization redirect between Intuit and Cobalt's local system.
Retrieved accounting data is retained for as long as it remains useful for internal reporting. Tokens are stored only for the duration of an active authorization and are revoked upon disconnect.
Authorization can be revoked at any time from the QuickBooks Online "Apps" screen, or via the Disconnect page provided by this integration.
Questions about this integration should be sent to koby@cobaltdigitalmarketing.com.
